For over 20 years Ed Squire was a top-tier business consultant providing strategic business solutions for Fortune 500 and global companies in the US, Canada, and Europe. But by the end of 2016, he was terminated and on disability with complex PTSD and depression.
In 2015 he began speaking openly about the sexual abuse he suffered as a child and how it was affecting him as an adult, but he wasn’t prepared for how that might impact his life. Ed started a nonprofit called MeTooWhatNow to raise awareness about childhood sexual abuse and mental illness using social media in the form of mainstream, contemporary videos on YouTube. With his unique style to creating videos and documentaries, his goal is to eliminate fear and stigma about childhood sexual abuse and mental illness.
He’s currently working on a documentary about the public lawsuit he filed against one of his abusers who was his elementary school teacher, and the school board that employed him.
