Show Notes by Production Assistant – Anna Nygren

  • Strick had 2,023 unread emails. Woah
    • Now Strick is using SaneBox, and it went through 15,000 of his emails!!
  • Ask yourself, do you need SaneBox?

Is Your Inbox Sane?

  • The problem with email was the signal to noise ratio in email inboxes
  • The average person gets 140-150 legit emails daily
  • When you BCC someone on a thread, it’s kinda shitty. So don’t do that.
  • Email has become our default priority
  • Most people don’t want to delete or archive the emails in your inbox with the fear of losing them, but it just moves to another folder
  • IM, like Slack, is horrible for productivity because it requires an immediate answer

Closing Lines

  • Email is developing on different platforms, meaning there’s more info to process. Yay!
  • With faster communication styles, more work and more collaboration needed, make sure that you can organize the stream of info
