More than an author he is my connection to my childhood. A good buddy of my late brother Detour Dave. Not late as in not on time, but the kind of late that has you reaching sometimes to any connection because he is not of the living any longer. Connecting back to my childhood today is Murray Siegel is the author of a new, self-published book called “MurMurings – Funny Tales of Terror and Other Desperate Cries for Help.” MurMurings” is two books in one – about half of the book contains illustrated Facebook postings that are observant, biting, funny, and sometimes silly or absurd. The other half of the book consists of 9 short stories depicting scary events from the author’s life, but retold with a lot of laughs. When Murray isn’t writing, he can be found eating, sleeping. or trying to open those plastic baggies in the produce section.
